Claims under 'Qualifying the Workforce' and short duration off-the-job training can be made until 30 September 2005

Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
The scheme offers employers registered with the CITB the opportunity to apply for industry related training for their employees. There are two main types of grants:

Qualifying the Workforce: Payable for qualifying individuals within the workforce (new or existing) with craft, operative or technical training
Developing the Workforce Grants: By means of developing a training and development plan or short duration off-the-job training

Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  Construction firms registered with the CITB
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation needed
Amount available Funding available: Typically between £500 to £5,000
