Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity: This funding opportunity aims to enhance the capacity of the voluntary and community sectors to target barriers to work, training and skills development.

This funding opportunity is split into two categories Core Programme and Open Awards. The Core Programme is a yearly grant split into two installments and awarded in April and october. The OPen Awards are awarded through out the year. Organisations must fill in two monitoring forms for the Core Programme and one for the OPen Awards.

It aims to help the following client groups:

Those with disabilities
women
The Unemployed
The economically inactive

Eligibility Eligible organisations:  Not-for-profit organisations.
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available Funding available:
The Core Programme has a minimum grant of £500 but no maximum grant. The Open Awards have no minimum grant in place but a maximum of £5,000 can be awarded.
