Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity: The aim of the young people's grant is to support young people (11-25) to influence decision making in their local communities and more widely within society. The three main priorities of the programme are:
- Developing ways to sustain a commitment to youth participation in decision making by organisations
- Identifying and promoting the benefits gained by young people, adults and organisations as a result of the participation of young people
- Disseminating and sharing examples of good practice, which results in improving opportunities for young people to take part in decision making

The fund support projects which demonstrate substantial involvement of young people in planning, design and delivery, projects that support young people's knowledge, skills and confidence in decision making and those projects which illustrate elements of empowerment, inclusion, ustainability and innovation.
