Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
Skillset Film Futures are grants for individuals working in the UK film industry to attend vocational training that will benefit their careers in the film industry.
Priority areas for training courses are:
- Business Skills
- Impact and use of new technologies
- Health & Safety;
- Training identified in a Careers Guidance Session

It aims to help the following client groups:
Women
Ethnic minorities

Those in work
Those with disabilities

Skills for employability
Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  Any organisation/individual with 2 years professional experience in the industry
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available Funding available: Skillset Film Futures will be investing up to £80,000 in the period to March 2006.
Freelancers can apply for up to 80% of fees and travel expenses to a maximum of £800
Employees can apply for up to 50% of fees and travel expenses to a maximum of £500
