Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
The Help the Hospices grant programmes offer financial assistance to hospice staff and volunteers to help them to make a difference in what they do. They offer a number of funding streams, including:

- The Professional Development Grant- offering support for the cost of continued professional development. Staff in independent voluntary hospices are eligible for funding towards attending accredited courses, conferences and study days.

- The Volunteer Grants Programme - offering support to help extend and develop the skills of hospice volunteers.

Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  Individuals, Hospices
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available Funding available: Professional Development Grant - 50% of fees (up to £750pa), Volunteer Training and Development Grants - 75% of fees (up to £500pa) and Volunteer Project Grants - maximum of £1,500.
