Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity: This funding opportunity is to support voluntary and community groups that use school premises to provide activities for children, young people and their families.
From 2006/07 onwards the Prevention and Early Intervention Fund will be targeted at groups delivering activities and services that contribute to at least one of the five Every Child Matters outcomes:

- being healthy
- staying safe
- enjoying and achieving
- making a positive contribution
- achieving economic well being

It aims to help the following client groups:

Those with disabilities
Young people
Ethnic minorities
