The fund considers appeals on a quarterly basis in June, September, December and March. If applications are successful the fund will make the donation shortly after the end of the quarter.

Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
The aims of the funding opportunity include:
- Supporting work experience programmes to help people understand the demands of work
- Encouraging employees to volunteer in community education projects which also enhances their development and motivation
- Preparing people for the world of work
- Making education and learning more accessible and geared to the needs of adults, with particular emphasis on improving job opportunities
- Supporting the teaching and learning of skills that are key to life and work such as being literate and numerate, comfortable with ICT
- Supporting particular areas of skill shortages, such as food technology and fashion design
- Helping in the professional development of teachers

Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  The fund supports all charitable appeals that fall with the key areas of its policy. See the Policy guidelines for details of appeals that are ineligible.
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available

Funding available: The fund will accept bids of between £1,000 and £5,000.
The fund will support projects and revenue funding
