Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
This funding opportunity has two levels of awards:
- Level 1 awards are aimed at individuals or informal groups of people who want to set up new projects in their spare time. These awards are for people who have an idea for a project that will benefit the whole community, have thugh about how they will run their project, have some evidence that there is a need for their project and will learn a new skill from carrying out their project.

- Level 2 awards support projects that are already developed. These awards are for people who have a powerful idea for a project, whose project will be sustainable after the award has finished, whose project has the potential to operate on a wider scale or be replicated elsewhere in the UK, people who have the commitment to make the project work and who have knowledge of similar initiatives or work

It aims to help the following client groups:

Awards available is divided into 2 levels:
- Level 1 awards between £500 and £5,000
- Level 2 awards between £10,000 and £20,000
