Launch date:The Savoy Educational Trust was established by four directors of the Savoy Hotel in 1961

Deadline for applications:
Trustee meetings are held in March, June, October and December. Completed application forms must be returned at least one month before the date of the meeting at which you wish your application to be considered.

Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity: The Savoy Educational Trust aims to advance and develop education, training and qualifications within the hospitality industry. It is particularly keen to fund well thought-out, balanced projects that will make a real difference to the industry in the long term.

Eligibility Eligible Organisations: Grants are available to educational establishments and to associations supporting initiatives that will make a difference to the hospitality industry. The Trust also funds scholarships and makes small grants to individuals.
Organisations are encouraged to work together where feasible.

Amount available Funding available: The is no maximum funding amount for educational establishments or associations.
Individuals undertaking a hospitality related degree course or craft course can apply for grants of usually not more than £500 to assist with the purchase of items such as books, uniform and kitchen equipment .

How to apply for this funding : Applicants should first write to the address below. Educational establishments should briefly outline the details of the project and give an approximate idea of the funding required.
