| Aims |
Objective of the funding opportunity: Socrates
supports European co-operation on a range of educational projects, initiatives
and professional development, providing opportunities
for all sectors from schools through to higher education and lifelong
learning. It aims to promote lifelong learning, encourage access
to education for everybody and help people to acquire recognised qualifications
and skills. Socrates particularly seeks to promote language learning,
mobility and innovation. The programme is split into a number of "Actions"
