Objective
of the funding opportunity:
To provide educational opportunities for
children and young people from non-privilaged backgrounds, with a particular
emphasis on recognising the needs and raising the aspirations of the academically
able. The Trust is particularly keen to fund innovative projects, pilot
schemes or new research. The funding is targeted at the following areas:
- Access to university for under-represented
groups
- The development of able children, including
independent/state school partnerships
- Enriching early learning for the under-three
age group
- Research and analysis surrounding these issues
