Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
The Prince's Trust helps young people to overcome barriers and get their lives working. Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, they aim to help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.
Focus is given to those who've struggled at school, been in care, been in trouble with the law, or are long-term unemployed.

The Start-up support helps unemployed 18-30 year olds who have a business idea but cannot raise the cash to start up in business.

It aims to help the following client groups:

Eligibility Eligible Applicants:  Individuals
Accreditation The following accreditation is needed to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available Funding available: Grants of up to £1,500, loans of £5,000, test marketing grant of £250, marketing support and advice, on going support from volunteer business mentor.
