Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
To actively promote literacy throughout the UK.
The funders are particularly interested in making grants to:
- Out-of-school clubs for children and their families who would like to improve their literacy skills
- Centres which offer or wish to initiate literacy programmes for young people (16-25) as part of their normal activity.
- Support computer/technological assistance in reading for the partially sighted, blind or head-injured.

It aims to help the following client groups:
Young People
Those Lacking Basic Skills

The Low Skilled
Those with Disabilities
