Deadline for applications: Trustees meet three times a year to consider applications. Application deadlines for each meeting (in 2005 and 2006) are:
31 January (for March meeting)
6 May (for July meeting)
30 September (for
November meeting)

Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity:
The trust awards grants to support charities' work in the fields of education and learning and scientific and medical research.

The trustees wish to help small UK charities, with a particular emphasis on those tackling difficult or less popular work. Priority for ongoing grants is given to very small charities.

It aims to help the following client groups:
Young People Those with disabilities
FRESA priorities The funding opportunity fits with the following FRESA priorities:

High priorities:
Future labour force

Medium priorities:
Access to learning and ICT

Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  Charitable organisations
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is needed
Amount available Funding available: Single year grants are usually for less than £3,000 per year.
Grants are given for running costs and salaries.
