Aims

Objective of the funding opportunity: Mid Beds District Council operates a small scheme to financially assist businesses within the District. The grants are designed to help businesses at three stages of development:
Pre-start Assistance - Designed for market research or feasibility study
Start-up Assistance - Designed for companies within the first two years of trading
Post Start-up Assistance - Designed for established companies wishing to increase their competitiveness
It aims to help the following client groups:

Eligibility Eligible Organisations:  Any businesses in the District
Accreditation Organisations must have the following accreditation to bid: No accreditation is required.
Amount available Funding available:
Pre-start Assistance- The award is limited to £500 or 70% of costs incurred (whichever is lowest)
Start-up Assistance - A grant for up to £2,000 of 50% of project costs (whichever is lowest)
Post Start-up Assistance - A grant of £5,000 or 35% of project costs (whichever is lowest)
